The server uses Linux or FreeBSD Unix operating system with remote dial-in turned on. These are the most secure operating systems available today. The Apache web server, for serving the program content to the network. The Apache web server is used by 65% of the websites on the internet, including Yahoo and Google. An internal modem is included with the server for B-ROW maintenance and support services.
